Christmas is almost here
(Round the bend is New Year)
Two more days of severe
Case of esprit de austere

I finally got done
Writing Christmas card pun
It’ is 4 in the morning
And it’ll soon rise, the sun

But I can’t miss Wish 2
My epic is almost through
So without much ado -
Hope you’ll always be TRUE

To your one family
Where you learned charity
Friends and lovers may go
But THEY will always be -

Always be there for you
When you’re cheery or blue
When your best will not do
They will still see you through

They’re the ones who will be
Holding you when the sea
Brings you down to your knee
To the heavens you plea

You will always be for them
Their precious little gem
The big sister who when
They were rowdy yelled, “Scram!”

You can soar to the sky
Get the world’s bestest guy
Earn our collective sigh
Answer all the world’s “why”

But you will always be you
Nothing less but all too
Real since they all knew
You when you hogged the loo

In the end it’s been said
Home is where we stead
Where our molecules will
Be long after we’re dead
