Ten Wishes #6
Wish 6 is not easyIt is like this, you see
When you live in the city
There’s no continuity
Here today, then a goner
Was just there, now it’s nowhere
Corner deli or dry cleaner
Coffee shop, gay hairdresser
Here’s hoping you’d find
Just the staying kind
Can survive New York’s grind
Will not leave you behind
One good Korean deli
With hot buffet plenty
And lots of good sushi
Dozen roses for twelve fifty
A dry cleaner in your blockWho’d take care of your frock
Shirts a buck-and-a-half
Making sure that you rock
Coffee shop by the park
Downstairs from where you work
With a fast broadband network
Coffee brewed by the Turk
Get a good nail salon
With cute girls from Saigon
A gay hairdresser spawn
Of that Vidal Sass0on
Who will always be there
Your faithful hairdresser
Keeps your eyebrows in flair
And the blondeness of your hair
You might think this is shallow
But wish 6 is more hallow
Little things that tomorrow
Will keep life in a smooth flow
