Interviewing Ms. Rice
Wow, aren't we psychic? From our blog to the CNN God's ears...Her Hotness, Delia Gallagher appeared on Anderson Cooper's new 10pm time slot interviewing Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice. Here's an excerpt:
DELIA GALLAGHER, FAV CORRESPONDENT: Who was your inspiration when you wrote "Interview with the Elected Vampire"?
CONDOLEEZA RICE, SECRETARY OF STATE & BEST SELLING AUTHOR: Please note that I wrote Interview during a very dark time in my life... I was an Atheist and was very depressed because the Democrats were in the White House. Having said that, the novel's main character, Lestat de Lionbreath was based on my friend Dick Cheney. Like Lestat, the Vice is a misunderstood figure who survives on other people's blood but has a very broken, lonely heart.

GALLAGHER: The Elected Vampire Chronicles has been a very successful series. Are there more stories to come?
RICE: As you know, the inspiration for the Chronicles just keeps coming to me as I am surrounded by blood-thirsty, misunderstood, brooding, men all day long. But I have seen the light and have found Jesus (bows head) and my latest novel, "GEORGE THE LORD: Out of Iraq", reflects my faith, my love for my Jesus (bows head) and His bestest disciple, GWB.
GALLAGHER: Was it a moment?
RICE: Was it a moment? No, I think it was a long time in coming. And I was wrestling with all sorts of theological questions. And finally it hit me; you don't have to resolve any of these questions. You don't really have to find the answers. GALLAGHER: (To the camera) Will her fans accept the more serene Condoleeza Rice and endorse her in 2008? Or will the voters stick to the feistier Hillary Rodham Clinton, herself the inspiration for the Vampire-convert Claudia? I guess we'll have to wait and see.
