Blogger's Block

I have blogger’s block. Despite a very juicy couple of weeks in Washington politics, I haven’t really thought of anything significant to blog about, especially with regard to Her Hotness, Delia Gallagher. We haven’t seen her since her 25-second spot last 12 October at the now-defunct Newsnight: that’s 24 days ago, or 576 hours ago, or 34,560 minutes ago, or 2,076,600 seconds ago. When you start calculating the number of seconds elapsed, you know you have blogger’s block.

Maybe I’ve just been inadvertently saturated with news – a byproduct of recording CNN shows just in case Delia shows up. And fast-forward news is mind numbing; it chips away at your brain one cell at a time. It douses your imagination and maims your sense of humor and slowly but surely depletes your already-limited vocabulary.

I cannot even think of a semi-clever closing line.
