From the Merriam-Webster Dictionary:Pronunciation: 'sa-"tIr

2 : wit, irony, or sarcasm used to expose and discredit vice or folly
I got more than a few caustic comments regarding my entry: "Is Delia Gay?"
That someone would even take the entry seriously is humorous if not for the vitriols which accompanied such gullibility. My intelligence, my intent, my very self - were questioned and ridiculed simply because someone couldn't understand the meaning of the word "satire". Fair enough. I have chosen to remain anonymous because this blog is not about me, per se, but about my musings on Delia and religion and news and other stuff remotely related to Delia.
I do have one question, though: When did being gay become such a disparaging comment? No, never mind, please don't answer. In my blue state, liberal, relativistic world - all humans ARE creatures of God.
I AM serious about ONE THING Only: This blog is meant to muse on and ponder about Delia and her various facets, and NOT to disparage her, at all. If you post any comment to that effect, I will delete it faster than you can say "uncle". If your IQ is less than or equal to your weight in kg, please don't post any comment either. Better yet, please don't even read this blog - it might cause your head to explode.
So let's just be clear:
Delia is Gay = Satire
Delia is Awesome = Not Satire
Capiche?
