The Dark Side?

Inside the Vatican, one of Delia Gallagher's employers, is published by Urbi et Orbi Communications, based in New Hope, KY. One of its main benefactors is The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation - the country's largest and most influential right-wing foundation. (I thought Richard Mellon Scarfe held that notorious distinction?) The same foundation also funds The American Spectator, which MAYBE somehow partly explains why Roger McCaffery singled out and exempted Delia from criticisms in this article (and I thought it was because he, like me, thinks she's HOT!).

The overall objective of the Bradley Foundation, however, is to return the U.S. - and the world- to the days before governments began to regulate Big Business, before corporations were forced to make concessions to an organized labor force. In other words, laissez-faire capitalism: capitalism with the gloves off. To further this objective, Bradley supports the organizations and individuals that promote the deregulation of business, the rollback of virtually all social welfare programs, and the privitization of government services. As a result, the list of Bradley grant recipients reads like a Who's Who of the U.S.Right.

Oh, did you read about Tom Delay crying over a Law & Order episode... I'm still LMAO about it.

Your dark side comments are far reaching. I thought this was an admiration society? McCaffery likely knows Gallagher, thus positive comments indicating some respect. vatican press is a small place, no doubt. the great part about live TV is you get a sense for the reporter...Gallagher does a superb job in helping the viewer understand the events as they unfold delivering facts with analysis...stick to the facts.

Dear Anonymous -
Yes, this is an admiration society, but I am not a reporter or journalist - which exempts me from facts (that are hard to come by, anyway). As I have said in prior entries, unless Dr. Gallagher herself supplies irrefutable facts, this will continue to be a speculative admiration society. But thanks for writing in.
