The Longest Night

Dear Shep,

I know you'd come up with a title like "The Longest Night" or something like that. I'm not even sure if tonight is winter's solstice, but you know I'm not into that kind of thing. I still don't know how to continue your blog. You know I'm not into writing or crushing or poetry or any of those other shit you like. You know I'm not even into Delia, but I know YOU'RE INSANE!!!

Anywho, sorry bro it took me so long to post anything. Unlike you, I have a life. (Hahaha! Get it?) I thought I'd change the decor, ya know, de-gay it a bit. Your old blog was a bit too gay for me, queeny-parchment-paper shit and all. How do you like what I did with the place?

The truth is, I don't know how to continue this. I'm reading your old posts, and man, I have some very small shoes to fill. I miss you, Shep. Oh boy, I don't know how you did it but I have a feeling this is gonna be so not fun, at least for me. But a promise is a promise, so I'm taking over your papacy.

HABEMUS BLOGGERAMUS!

Love,
German Shepherd II

Well, it's true, Shep has moved on and asked me to continue this fucking blog. I loved Shep, so I have to comply. I'm new into Delialogy and I have a very steep learning curve, but Shep thought I would manage, and that's what I'm trying to do. Please don't ask me where Shep went, that's another promise I was asked to keep. Let's just say where it is, it's so much better than where I am right now. Free flowing alcohol, I would imagine, or hope.

So I will try my best to blog about Delia and whatever else, I guess. Once upon a time, I did more than just stare at numbers and all, and maybe that's what Shep remembered. That at one point, I too was philosophically and spiritually deep. Maybe that's what I'm supposed to rediscover with this legacy.

It's going to be a loooonnnnggggg night...

Delia Gallagher

Looking at the blog after not doing so for a while, I find this post.

Well, I like what Shep II has done with the blog, including changing its name from
the Delia Gallagher Admiration Society to the Delia Gallagher observatory.

Like the posts.

Like the decor.

It can't be that unpleasant, can it?
Yes it can.

Keep up the work.
The Sisyphean work as Shep said.
