Delia Encore!

If you missed Delia's 2-hour special, "The Last Days of Pope JP2", CNN is going to have 2 encores, along with 2 other religious documentaries, "The Mystery of Jesus" and "The 2 Marys". I cannot say for certain whether you'd get some sort of plenary indulegence for watching one or all of the shows, but I can assure you that Delia did a fantastic work on her special.

I got this email yesterday from a CNN PR person, who was kind enough not to contact the FBI (just kidding):

I saw a posting on your blog about “The Last Days of Pope John Paul II” – I hope that you enjoyed the program. I thought that our upcoming weekend of encore programming inspired by the Easter holiday may be of interest to you. We will encore this program and show two other documentaries.

The two-hour special on the final days of Pope John Paul II will be replayed on Saturday, April 15 and Easter Sunday, April 16 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

We will also air two other encore programs. For The Mystery of Jesus CNN spoke with biblical and forensic experts to answer questions such as – what did Jesus look like? When and where was Jesus born? The Two Marys – The Madonna and The Magdalene examines the recent theological scholarship around the lives of the two most important women in the Christian faith.

Jennifer most likely just did a google blog search for the documentary and sent me a form email, because if she indeed read the blog, she wouldn't really ask me if I "enjoyed the program." But still, it was nice of her to let me know. So, set your DVRs, it's Delia weekend redux.
