National Day of Prayer
I just have a few random thoughts:
1. Do we really need a Presidential order to command us to pray? If I skipped work because I'm fulfilling my Day of Prayer obligation, would I be charged a PTO? What about that little thing called "Separation of Church and State", when politicians blatanly use the pulpit for their selfish political maneuvering?
2. Dana Bash, who can easily pass for Delia's older sister, said something about GWB being "extremely religious and the church as his comfort zone"; Dana, I can read between the lines: religious extremism
3. And lastly and most importantly, WHERE THE (Bleep) IS CNN'S FAITH AND VALUES PERSON? Let's see: cathedral, priests, pastors, choirs, prayers, masses... Oh no, we forgot we already have a F&V Correspondent!
Damn you, CNN!
(And I'm saying that with love and gratitude for hiring Her Hotness full-time in the first place...But please give her some airtime, will ya?)
