No, "WYD" doesn't stand for "Weapons of Youth Destruction", it stands for "World Youth Day", that veritable jamboree established by Pope JP2. The schedule is in the website with the official start tomorrow, 16 August (preliminary activities today, Feast of the Assumption). This being Eggs Benedict's first official trip outside of Italy, the media professionals are expected to be in full attendance. Seems the organizers have a lot of fun stuff for the media as well.

Arrival during the day.

Now, I really don't know if Her Hotness, Delia Gallagher will be covering the event, but it is likely that she will be. Whether she will be on CNN though is another story. Being a schmuck, I totally forgot about today and hence will have no record of Her Hotness' appearance, if any. GAAAAHHHHHH! Plus, being a productive member of society ("productive" is relative), I cannot really spend the week in front of my TV to see if Delia will be on. It is nice to know that I still have some DNA of sanity left.

Just the same, if indeed Her Hotness is in Germany, the following, based on official schedule, are probably her activities for today:

10:00 hrs - Arrive at Frankfurt airport
12:00 hrs - Check in at hotel (of course, Her Hotness only travels 1st class and stays at 5-star hotels!)
13:00 hrs - Lunch with Alessio Vinci
15:00 hrs - Register at Press Office
15:20 hrs - Socialize with colleagues
17:00 hrs - Attend Marian celebrations
17:10 hrs - Go to confession (inappropriate thoughts and sinful fantasies of Alessio)
19:00 hrs - Say the Rosary alone
19:45 hrs - Dinner with Alessio Vinci (suppress any inappropriate thoughts and talk about the Pope instead)
21:30 hrs - Return to hotel room
21:45 hrs - Take a nice, relaxing bath
22:25 hrs - Say evening prayers
23:00 hrs - Watch CNNInternational
23:30 hrs - Retire for the night. ALONE.
