Delia's World / Part 1

Last July 4th weekend, my friend and I started filling in the blanks on the most mundane details of Her Hotness, Delia Gallagher's world - innocent, sophomoric speculations at best. I wanted to write about it at the time but I was SO busy working on work stuff.

But - I'm finally finishing up my project - hey, I didn't even take my damn work laptop home tonight! - so, here are some of that weekend's mindless speculations:

Books on Her Hotness' bedside table: Da Vinci Code, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (yes, I do imagine Delia as a secret Harry Potter fan!), John Allen's Conclave, Ratzinger Report
Magazines on her bedside table: Inside the Vatican (of course!), America, Cosmo, Vanity Fair
6 CDs currently in her stereo system: The Chieftains' Live from Dublin, Brahms Cello Sonata by Yo Yo Ma, Phantom of the Opera Original Broadway Recording, Beatles' One, Gregorian Chant, Sounds of Joyful Music by the Singing Nuns

CD she secretly listens to while riding her Vespa: My Prerogative: Greatest Hits by Britney Spears
Favorite DVDs from her collection: Star Wars Trilogy, The Godfather Box Set (Except 4), The Sound of Music Special Edition, The Nun's Story and anything with Audrey Hepburn, Complete Seasons 1-6 of Sex and the City

Sports Hobbies: rollerblading, tennis (she doubles with Alessio Vinci), plays a mean game of billiards

American Sports Teams: SF 49ers, Oakland A's, Sacramento Kings, San Jose Sharks (she likes all the home teams!)
Hidden Passions: She loves to sing Bette Midler and Barry Manilow songs in a karaoke bar and she's a really good ballroom and Latin salsa / tango dancer
High School Extra-curricular activities: editor of her high school yearbook, treasurer of the debate club, varsity softball, organizing committee - senior prom

So there, random speculations on equally random aspects of Her Hotness' world. And what a wonderful world it is!
